Hamilton Litestat are data-fit for the future…
Hamilton Litestat have launched their new website, showcasing a full range of high quality decorative electrical wiring accessories, circuit protection, smart lighting controls and audio systems. Gavin Williams (Sales & Marketing Director) commented, ‘We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Hamilton website. We felt that it was time for a fresh look and more importantly, we wanted to provide our customers with a consistent and convenient shopping experience.
Hamilton’s product data and assets, including over twenty-four thousand SKU’s, are now located within e-Pim (Ng15’s multi-channel product information management system), allowing them to easily update and manage their website and product catalogues. e-Pim will automatically feed product data (including ETIM data) directly to the website, where it will be available to download as data sheets. The advantage being that customers within the electrical installation supply chain, will have access to instant and much better technical product information.
The new website has a number of new features including a ‘product configurator’, allowing users to quickly view different product attribute combinations including colour, gang and type across all ranges.
Once selected, the user is presented with the finished item and can opt to instantly download a data sheet along with all of its key information.
Users will also be able to access updated case studies, all product ranges, stockist lists and general information regarding the various bespoke services that are available.
e-Pim integrates seamlessly with Hamilton’s ERP system, pulling in all new product information making it available to Hamilton’s marketing team for further enrichment and automatically updating the website.
Hamilton’s Digital Marketing Executive John Stainer commented; “Using NG15’s product information management system ‘e-Pim’ has really made a significant difference to our business as we have far greater control over our data.
We have the confidence in knowing that our product information is accurate, up-to-date and readily available for all of our marketing channels, the beauty being that everything is easily managed from one centralised location.
Hamilton have also recently launched their new product catalogue. Gavin Williams commented, “catalogues and digital catalogues are still an essential marketing vehicle for us and an important tool for driving customers online. e-Pim has enabled us to speed up the whole catalogue production process, saving us valuable time and money”.
